Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) -  AdvaMed, fromerly know as the Health Industry Manufacturers Association (HIMA) is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association and the largest medical technology association in the world. HIMA represents more than 700 manufacturers of medical devices, diagnostic products, and medical information systems.

Alliance of Angels -- The goal of the Alliance of Angels is to nurture the growth of technology-based businesses in Washington State by improving the interactions among angel investors and emerging local technology companies seeking funding.

American Electronics Association (AEA) -- The AEA is the nation's largest high technology trade association representing a broad range of high technology segments. Its fundamental goal is to help create a healthy business environment for the high technology industry and to strengthen the industry's position in world markets.

American Medical Writers Association, Northwest Chapter (AMWA) -- Members of the AMWA-NW create and edit biomedical information for organizations, corporations, universities, and government agencies. The NW chapter, reactivated in 1995, has over 100 members in the Northwest, including British Columbia, Canada and five states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.

American Society of Gene Therapy (ASGT) -- The ASGT, based in Seattle, promotes and fosters the exchange and diffusion of information and ideas relating to gene therapy.

American Statistical Association, Puget Sound Chapter -- The purpose of the Puget Sound ASA chapter is to foster in the broadest manner statistics and its applications, and to promote unity and effectiveness of effort among all groups in the Western Washington area having an interest in or being concerned with statistical problems.

Bellevue Economic Partnership (BEP) -- The Bellevue Economic Partnership was created in 1997 by the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, the City of Bellevue, the Port of Seattle, the Bellevue Downtown Association, and an alliance of key area business leaders. Biological Photographic Association News (BPA) -- The BPA News is published eight times a year as a service to its membership by the Biological Photographic Association, Inc.

Forum on Science Policy & Ethics (FOSEP) -- FOSEP is a multidisciplinary, nonpartisan, non-advocacy organization of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows that was initiated by graduate students from the University of Washington. FOSEP's mission is to Foster scientist-citizens who can participate effectively in discussions about issues in science and society.

International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (IFPMA) -- The IFPMA represents, through its member associations, the international worldwide research-based pharmaceutical industry and manufacturers of prescribed medicines.

International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) -- ISPE's membership includes nearly 23,000 pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals in 80 countries. Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) -- The MDMA is a national trade association based in Washington, D.C. that represents 130 independent manufacturers of medical devices, diagnostic products and health care information systems. The MDMA seeks to improve the quality of patient care by encouraging the development of new medical technology and fostering the availability of beneficial innovative products.

MIT Enterprise Forum of the Northwest -- The MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc. is a not-for-profit public service organization founded in 1978 to promote and strengthen the process of starting and growing companies which primarily have a strong technology orientation by providing services which educate, entertain and inform entrepreneurs and supporters of entrepreneurship.

NanoBusiness Alliance -- The NanoBusiness Alliance is an industry association founded to advance the emerging business of nanotechnology and Microsystems. Northwest Association for Bioscience Finance Officers (NABFO) -- NABFO is dedicated to promoting public understanding of the implications and applications of the process of biomedical research. All are stakeholders in the continuing search for cures and treatments for diseases affecting people and animals.

Northwest Biomedical Development Network (NWBDN) -- The NWBDN is an informal, non-profit organization of scientists who work in drug development in the Seattle/Puget Sound area. The organization's objective is to provide a forum for presentations and discussion of current issues in drug development, and for networking with peers from local companies.

Northwest Entrepreneur Network (NWEN) -- The NWEN helps entrepreneurs make the connections and access the resources they need to succeed. Focused on helping entrepreneurs build their business network, the NWEN provides the knowledge, mentoring, and access to investors that creates and grows successful companies.

Northwest Environmental Business Council -- The Northwest Environmental Business Council (NEBC) is an umbrella for the new five-state regional environmental association (Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington).

Northwest Science Writers Association (NSWA) -- The NSWA, previously the Puget Sound Science Writers Association, is a forum for professional writers and communicators to discuss issues relating to science and technology, including health and the environment.

Nuclear Medicine Research Council (NMRC) -- The NMRC is a nonprofit organization based in Richland, Washington, that is devoted to the beneficial applications of radioisotopes for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.

Organization of Regulatory and Clinical Associates (ORCA) -- ORCA provides a regional forum to provide education and to facilitate communication, networking and support in the professional and technical aspects of regulatory, quality and clinical functions. The organization’s activities provides educational opportunities in the areas of biologics, biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, research development and clinical studies.

Oregon Bioscience Association (OBA) -- The OBA is a non-profit industry association promoting the growth and quality of the bioscience industry in the State of Oregon.

Pacific Northwest Bio/Technologies Alliance -- The Pacific Northwest Bio/Technologies Alliance is a non-profit educational organization based in Seattle. The Alliance represents the merger of the NW Chapter of the Laboratory Robotics Interest Group and Array(bio). The Alliance's mission is to provide an open forum for the exchange of ideas in the application of new techniques and technologies in life science research.

Pacific Northwest Economic Region (PNWER) -- PNWER is a non-profit organization that brings together legislative, government and private sector leaders to work toward the development of public policies that promote the economies of the Pacific Northwest, including: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington plus the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and Yukon.

Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PhRMA) -- PhRMA is an industry association comprised of approximately 100 U.S. companies committed to pharmaceutical research. Seattle Biotech Legacy Foundation -- The Seattle Biotech Legacy Foundation strives to address issues in our region that would benefit from interdisciplinary expertise in science, medicine and business, with a focus on projects, programs or uses of technology that approach and solve problems in an innovative way.

Society for Technical Communication, Puget Sound Chapter -- The mission of the Puget Sound Chapter of STC is to serve the interests of technical communicators in the Puget Sound Region.

Technology Alliance -- The Technology Alliance is a network of technology businesses, research institutions, and industry trade associations in Washington State dedicated to nurturing the growth of technology-based business.

Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle -- A partnership of the City of Seattle, King and Snohomish County governments, organized labor and the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce. The Alliance is dedicated to promoting this region as one of North America's premier international gateways, and commercial, educational and research centers through trade promotion and other activities.

Washington Biotechnology Foundation (WBF) -- The WBF is a 501(c)(3) organization, located in Seattle, dedicated to promoting the understanding of how biotechnology impacts people's lives through educational efforts.

Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association (WBBA) -- The WBBA is a non-profit trade organization founded to enhance the quality of life by promoting the growth and understanding of the biotechnology and medical technology industries within Washington state.

Washington Medical Librarians Association (WMLA) -- WMLA's mission is to mprove the quality of health sciences library service in the State of Washington; to provide opportunities for professional growth by interaction and continuing education for WMLA members; to improve the role of librarians and the library in the healthcare institution; and to enable WMLA members to assist healthcare professionals in providing excellent care.
