Life Sciences Strategy and Progress Report

Sept. 16 - Genomic Approaches to Understanding Disease and Enhancing Drug Development

WBBA Annual Meeting 2006
"The Future of Life Sciences in Washington"

Tuesday, Oct. 31

The Westin Hotel, Seattle

7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Will history repeat itself? In 2004, WBBA hosted a lively - and potentially pivotal - conversation between the gubernatorial candidates at our Annual Meeting. This year we’ve invited Senatorial candidates Senator Maria Cantwell (invited) and Mike McGavick (confirmed) to have a conversation about the life sciences in Washington. What’s the plan? In addition to a discussion by the Senatorial candidates, the event will feature the first public unveiling of the Comprehensive Bioscience Strategy for Washington’s Future.

The WBBA Annual Meeting, a breakfast on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 31, will provide opportunities to meet and reconnect with an estimated 500 members of Washington's medical device and biotechnology community.
