WBBA membership dues are determined by the number of company or organization employees in the state of Washington and are based on a calendar year. For mid-year membership, please pro rate dues accordingly.

Platinum and Gold Leaders receive special recognition as leaders in the industry.
  • Platinum Leaders $10,000 (Associate Members & Core Members of any size willing to make this exemplary commitment)
  • Gold Leaders $5,000 (All Associate Members and Member Companies with 1-499 employees in Washington)
  • Gold Leaders $7,500 (All Core Member Companies with 500+ employees in Washington)

Core Member Companies conduct research, develop, manufacture, or sell biotechnology or medical device and technology products.

Core Emerging Companies: a for-profit company engaged in biotechnology or medical device research and development, that has 10 or fewer employees. The company cannot have been a member of WBBA in the previous 24 months. The Emerging Company pays $100 membership dues in Year 1, and $250 dues in Year 2, and then graduates to full dues rates in Year 3.

Core Institutional Members are nonprofit institutions or nonprofit agencies that are involved in biotechnology or biomedical research, provide services to biotechnology or biomedical companies or otherwise have an interest in the industries.

Under present law, dues paid to an Association for lobbying expenses directed at state and federal government are not deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
